3rd Meeting in Genova

The 3rd meeting of the CONSECH20 project was held this month (February 17-18, 2020) at the University of Genova in Italy. The discussion focused on legislation and actors driving the process for the protection, conservation, and re-use of historic concrete buildings and on the survey of the case studies.

A total of 48 historic concrete buildings with social potential (bringing people together) were selected in Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy, and The Netherlands. For each of the buildings selected, the consortium is studying the social, historical, architectural, and technical aspects while involving stakeholders and people using and interacting with the buildings.

During the meeting in Genova, the consortium visited the Museo del Tesoro di San Lorenzo and the former Fish Market, which are 2 of the CONSECH20 case studies in Italy.
