The 2nd meeting of the CONSECH20 project was held last month (September 19-20, 2019) at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia. The discussion focused on the selection of 20th cent. concrete buildings with social potential (bringing people together) in 4 countries: Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy, and The Netherlands.
For each of the buildings selected, the consortium will study the social, historical, architectural, and technical aspects, and involve stakeholders and people using and interacting with the buildings. Soon, the list of case studies selected will be posted.
During the meeting in Nicosia, the consortium visited the Ledra Palace Hotel and the Nicosia Municipal Retail Market, which are 2 of the CONSECH20 case studies in Cyprus.
